Itinerary
Day 1: Flight Lima - Iquitos – Amazon Rainforest
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your early morning flight to Iquitos.
Upon arrival at Iquitos airport, you will be met by our representative and have a brief city orientation then you will be transferred to the Explorama dock to start your Amazon adventure through the Amazon River, you will have a twenty-five mile journey down the Amazon to Ceiba Tops, a very comfortable and luxury lodge with private rooms with air conditioning and hot water.
In the afternoon, you will have a hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding Ceiba Tops that includes many huge trees festooned with epiphytes. After dinner, enjoy a local flute or guitar music at El Toucan Bar or hear the guides who are always ready to relate some of the many legends of the Amazon forest.

Day 2: Amazon Rainforest
Today you will have a morning boat ride to look for the pink dolphins, and then we will continue our way to visit a small village of Yagua Indians where your guide will explain you about the Yagua Indian culture and how the arrival of Europeans and the passing of time affected it. There will also be an opportunity to see some of the local crafts and a demonstration of the blowgun, which some of the Yagua elders still use for hunting. In the afternoon, you will have a walking excursion to the neighboring town of Indiana. Originally, a Franciscan mission, Indiana has grown into a large river community with its own market, high school and small hospital.
Overnight in the Amazon - Ceiba Tops (Standard Room)

Day 3: Canopy Walkway
Today you will have an early morning boat trip through the Amazon River to Explore Napo Lodge where you will have breakfast. Then you will hike to the spectacular Canopy Walkway spanning over 500 meters (one-third of a mile), connected by tree platforms, and reaching a height of over 35 meters (115 feet) but accessible without any type of climbing skill or equipment. After lunch, visit to the "ReNuPeRu" Ethnobotanical Garden where a local shaman who will explain the nature of Amazonian natural healing and the uses of some of the plants, cultivates over 240 medicinal plants. Return to Ceiba Tops in time to enjoy the pool or hammocks before dinner.

Day 4: Amazon Rainforest – Iquitos/Flight to Lima
Today, you can choose between a morning walk or a boat excursion to enjoy your last day in the rainforest and Amazon River or time to relax by the pool until departure time. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Iquitos and then to the airport to board your flight back to Lima.
Arrival at Lima Airport early enough to check in your flight back home.
