Itinerary

Day 1: Lima

Upon arrival at Lima international airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel located in Miraflores, the safest and nicest area of Lima.
Overnight in Lima – Casa Andina Classic Miraflores Centro *** (Traditional Room)

Day 2: Flight Lima - Cusco (11,150 ft)

After breakfast, you will be will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your early morning flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival at Cusco airport you will be transferred to your hotel located in the center of Cusco.  You will have time to rest and relax.
Overnight in Cusco – Best Western Andes de America *** (Standard Room)

Day 3: Guided tour of the Incas’ sacred valley

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to start your adventure in the Incas’ sacred valley; today you will visit the famous Indian Market of Pisac where the local families sell their products and handicraft. The trip includes visits to Quechua colorful villages like Calca, Yanahuara, Urubamba, Yucay and others where you will be able to interact with the locals and learn about their ancient customs and traditions. After lunch, your guide will show you Ollantaytambo, this incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish, a truly amazing Incas’ highlight. In order to have a more comfortable trip you will stay overnight in Ollantaytambo village, next morning you will board the train to Machu Picchu!

Day 4: Machu Picchu by train

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Ollantaytambo train station to board the Vista dome train to Aguas Calientes (the base town of Machu Picchu).
Guided tour of Machu Picchu (8,000 ft)
Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station you will be met by your guide and take a 25 minute bus journey to Machu Picchu where you will have a guided tour and learn about the history of this site. You will have some insight into the various features of this sacred city and have free time to really enjoy yourself!
After visiting Machu Picchu, you will board the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch before boarding the train to Cusco.
Afternoon: Train journey to Cusco
Upon arrival at the train station, you will be transferred to your Hotel.

Day 5: Guided tour of Cusco and nearby Inca Ruins

14:00: this afternoon your guide will pick you up from your hotel and show you the highlights of Cusco, the colonial cathedral, the great temple of Korikancha and the 4 impressive Inca ruins around Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site and Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. You will learn more about the Incas’ secrets!

Day 6: *Tourist bus journey Cusco - Puno (12,550 ft)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Puno and have one of the most fabulous journeys with spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and countryside. The bus journey includes visits to Tipon, Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pukara.
Upon arrival at Puno bus station you will be transferred to your Hotel.

Day 7: Boat trip to Lake Titicaca

After Breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Puno pier to board the motor boat and start your adventure on the highest navigable Lake in the world, the first stop will be on the floating Totora reed Islands of The Uros where you will see how these pre-Incan people live; we continue our journey onto Taquile Islands where you will learn more about Inca’s culture and traditions; their lifestyle remains the same as it has been for centuries with very little influence from modern times. Here you will find beautiful textiles and some of the best handicraft in the Inca region.
In the afternoon, we will return to Puno pier, from where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: Lake Catamaran to Sun Island

After Breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Copacabana village in Bolivia, where you will board the Catamaran Cruise Ship and visit the Sun Island, the birthplace of the Inca Civilization! This impressive Inca region offers you unique vistas of the Incas’ lake.
In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Puno and transferred to your hotel.

Day 9: Flight Juliaca - Lima

After breakfast, you will be picked up transferred to the airport to board your morning flight to Lima.
Upon arrival at Lima airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel located in the bustling, cosmopolitan Miraflores area of the city.
Afternoon: Guided tour of Pachacamac sacred city
After lunch, you will be driven to Pachacamac, one of the most important pre-Inca and Incan ceremonial Centers on the Peruvian coast, you will explore its plazas, pyramids and temples; the Temple of the Sun was built during the Inca Civilization and is one of the best preserved buildings of this archaeological complex. The site museum that displays pieces found during the excavation.

Day 10: Flight Lima - Cajamarca (8,900 ft)

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your early morning flight to Cajamarca.
Upon arrival at Cajamarca airport you will be transferred to your Hotel, located in the center of Cajamarca; you will have time to rest and adjust to the altitude.
Afternoon: Guided tour of Cajamarca.
This afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel and start your tour of this Inca city, you will appreciate the lovely churches built during the colonial era between the 17th and 18th century. Our visit will cover the San Francisco Church, the Santa Catalina Church, the Belén (Bethlehem) Monument Complex, the “Cuarto del Rescate” which was filled with pieces of gold to obtain Atahualpa’s freedom, definitely it is one of the most important archaeological treasures of Peru.

Day 11: Ventanillas de Otuzco and Incas’ Bath

After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Otuzco, a pre-inca necropolis located only 5 miles from Cajamarca, this incredible place has more than 300 funerary niches carved out of solid rock.
Afternoon: free to enjoy the Incas’ Bath!

Day 12: Flight Cajamarca - Lima

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport to board your early morning flight to Lima.
Upon arrival at Lima airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Miraflores, the bustling, cosmopolitan area of the city from where you will start your afternoon Lima tour.
Lima Tour
In the afternoon, you will be driven to the city of the Kings where you will see beautiful monuments Colonial Palaces, Colonial houses adorned with Moorish-style balconies, Plaza San Martin, Plaza de Armas, the baroque cathedral, Palacio de Gobierno (Governors Palace), the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco which houses the largest collection of religious art in the Americas. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery during the colonial period!
Evening flight back home
You will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
