ITINERARY
Day 1: Lima.
On arrival at Lima international airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel, located in Miraflores the safest and nicest area of Lima.
Evening: Overnight in Lima.
Day 2: Flight Lima Arequipa (7,626 ft).
Afternoon: Transfer to the airport to board your afternoon flight to Arequipa.
On arrival at Arequipa airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel, located in the center of Arequipa;
Evening: Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 3: Half day tour of Arequipa and rest to acclimatize to the altitude.
After breakfast you will have a half day guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of Arequipa that is surrounded by spectacular snow-covered mountains. The colonial buildings are built of "sillon" - a white volcanic rock - hence the nickname "the white city". We continue onto Santa Catalina Monastery (a city within a city).
You will have the rest of the day to rest and adjust to the altitude.
Evening: Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 4: Start Colca Canyon tour.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide from your Hotel and driven to the colorful Andean valley of Colca, the natural habitat of vicuñas, llamas and alpacas; in the way you will see Andean villages where the local people still maintain ancestral traditions and cultivate the pre-Inca stepped terraces.
Colca Canyon is one of the deepest canyons in the world at 10,725 ft and runs over 100 km.
Afternoon: you are free to relax in the refreshing thermal waters.
Evening: Overnight in Chivay (11,800 ft).

Day 5: Condors - Arequipa.
Early morning, we drive to the Cross of the Condor to observe the sacred Andean Condor; this majestic bird uses the morning upwind in the Canyon to soar high into the sky before gliding towards the coast on the wind currents to find its food; we continue our way visiting some native villages & Pre-Inca Tombs.
After lunch, we drive back to Arequipa on the way we will have spectacular views of the Sabancaya and Ampato Volcanoes, we may be lucky and have snow!
Evening: Overnight in Arequipa.

Day 6: Tourist bus journey Arequipa - Puno (12,550 ft).
Transfer to the bus station to board your bus to Puno.
On arrival at Puno bus station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.

Day 7: Lake Titicaca a unique destination!
After Breakfast, we board our motor boat to start the adventure on the highest navigable Lake in the world and largest in South America, our first stop will be on the floating impressive Totora reed Islands of The Uros where you will see how these pre-Incan people live; then we continue onto Taquile Islands where we will learn more about Inca’s culture and traditions; their lifestyle remains the same as it has been for centuries with very little influence from modern times.
In the afternoon you return to Puno and will be transferred to your Hotel.
Evening: Overnight in Puno.

Day 8: Tourist bus journey Puno - Cusco (11,150 ft).
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the tourist bus station to board the bus to Cusco and have one of the most fabulous Andean journeys through spectacular views of the Andes Mountains and countryside, a memorable travel experience through the high Altiplano region!
On arrival at Cusco bus station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.
Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 9: Guided tour of Cusco and nearby Inca Ruins.
Afternoon: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and show you the highlights of Cusco, the colonial cathedral, the great temple of Korikancha and the 4 impressive Inca ruins around Cusco, Sacsayhuaman, with its massive walls, Qenko, site of carved living rock, Puca Pucara, an Inca lodging Site & Tambo Machay, known as the Baths of the Inca. Our expert guides will make sure you get the most of these special places.
Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 10: Guided tour of the Incas’ sacred valley.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your and driven to the Incas’ sacred valley, visiting the famous Indian Market of Pisac where you'll be able to interact with the local families or buy handicraft, souvenirs, learn about the local culture, see the native villages and have a guided tour of Ollantaytambo Fortress, an incredible Royal Inca site where the Incas made one of their last stands against the Spanish.
Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 11: Machu Picchu.
Early morning: you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the train station to board the Vista dome train to Aguas Calientes (the base town of Machu Picchu).
Guided tour of Machu Picchu (8,200 ft).
On your arrival at the train station you will be met by your guide and have a 25 minute bus journey to Machu Picchu, the most impressive and mysterious Inca Site where you will have a guided tour and learn about the history of this site, who lived here, how it was discovered in modern times and why the Spaniards never found it. You will have some insight into the various features of this sacred city and have free time to really enjoy yourself alone in this spectacularly located site, an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever!
Afternoon: Vista dome train journey back to Cusco.
On your arrival at Cusco train station you will be met by our representative and transferred to your Hotel.
Evening: Overnight in Cusco.

Day 12: Flight Cusco Lima.
Morning: transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima.
On arrival at Lima airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to Miraflores from where you will start your afternoon tour of Lima.
Afternoon: Lima city tour.
We will drive you downtown into the city of the Kings; our English speaking guide will help you to get to know the Plaza de Armas, with the baroque cathedral, the Palacio de Gobierno (Governors Palace), the Archbishop's Palace with its big carved wooden balconies, and the convent of San Francisco, whose bright yellow facade covers a grisly secret. Underneath the convent lie extensive catacombs that served as the cemetery for the whole of Lima during the colonial period!
Evening flight back home
Transfer at any time to the airport to board your flight back home.
